Was tolled by a German friend of mine, that I should try post my 101" GS here at this fine page.
I have come in a situation where I cant keep my beloved Land Rover 101" any longer.
Due to Danish law, it is very exspenciv for me, to put in rear bench/seats and therefor it can only legaly take the driver and 1 passenger.
But we are now 3 in the family.
I hate to let it go, but you all know the drill, and wife tend to get last word.
It has been for sale in Denmark, but most people here are in same position as I or want to buy it next year in January, as it will be classic according to DK laws and then queit cheap to own.
Now, I went to UK in 2008 and got the 101".
It has driven 52000km and is from 1976.
I have army historie from 101" club in UK.
Since then I have alot of small things done to it and now it drives very well.
It has overdrive and exmore defender seats.
No rust in chassie and bulkhead (New rearcross member), engin and gearbox very well.
Down side is that the doors have some rost, they work, but are not nice inside.
Beside that, it is in a fiarly all right stage for a 35years old Land Rover that has served in RAF and been use to transport firewood ect.
The price is 7000€ ono.
Am looking for a decent Serie 1-3 swb RHD or a Defender 90" prefer exmod and RHD.
