has somebody here trouble with the Transfer box - Front Drive ?
mine has a slight leak and has a little movement (Flange) and the oil is making the Motor supports wavy ?
This could be the noise (which i thought was the bearings or brakes(which are now new)) that i can hear (whining) and that i believe that there is more vibration as for a couple of years ago ?
Easy to change ?
Could it be the flange that has play and not the bearings ?
Take it out and renew or get a reconditioned one ? (when this option, then i will take the whole gearbox out, put a new clutch in with a stronger selector arm , and get the gearbox checked over)
and yes i do seem to have problems with the Landy in the last year, but its old, and needs things to be done here and there
